Keyboard Shortcuts
Although you can use the mouse to control nearly every aspect of Mike's Sprite Editor, you also have the option to control the program using your keyboard. In some cases, this might be faster than clicking on the different options while you work.
The default keyboard controls are shown in the table below. To change these shortcuts, select "Preferences" in the Edit menu followed by the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab. Be sure to click the "APPLY" button at the bottom of the dialog, otherwise your changes won't take effect.
Note that the editor lists its shortcuts in a specific order; if two or more actions share the same keyboard shortcut, only the first one will be chosen. You can view the order in the Preference Manager's Keyboard Shortcuts tab; it's the same order the shortcuts are listed in.

CTRL + G | Toggles the grid on and off |

DEL | Clears the current selection, if there is one |
CTRL + A | Selects the entire image |
CTRL + H | Flips the image or selection horizontally |
CTRL + F | Flips the image or selection vertically |
CTRL + X | Cuts the selection and places it on the clipboard |
CTRL + C | Copies the selection to the clipboard |
CTRL + V | Pastes from the clipboard, if possible |
CTRL + N | Creates a new image (same as File->New) |
CTRL + O | Opens a new image (same as File->Open) |
CTRL + S | Saves the current image (same as File->Save) |
CTRL + Z | Performs an UNDO |
CTRL + Y | Performs a REDO |
CTRL + E | Opens the Resize Image dialog |
CTRL + W | Opens the Scale Image dialog |
CTRL + R | Repeats the last filter you used with the same options. Does nothing if you haven't used a filter during that session. |
